Since we are all children of God, the cast is open to everyone, regardless of age.  We will tell the story of Christmas with lots of songs and laughter.  Come a few minutes early to pick up a script and a costume and join in the fun.

Sunday, September 11, 2016 – 10 am at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church (1079 Riverside Drive)

Note the change in time and location.  For God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday, we take worship on the road.  We will be worshiping with our sisters and brothers at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church to celebrate the work we did together the day before.  It will be a joint service, and will include our choir, their praise team, parts of our liturgy, parts of theirs, and fun for all!  After worship, stay for brunch.  Many dishes are planned, and you are welcome to include your favorite dish or offer support to help clean up.

Blessing of the Animals – Oct. 4 at 3 pm

“For every wild animal of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the air, and all that moves in the field is mine.” – Psalm 50:10-11

God loves all of creation. On the festival of St. Francis of Assisi, Sunday, October 4th, we pay special attention to the animal part of God’s creation. Bring your pet to Trinity at 3 pm for a special outdoor service of thanksgiving for the love that pets bring to our lives. All animals are welcome, be they furry, feathery, slimey, or scaley. Make sure they are on a leash or secured safely. If your pet does not like to travel, you can also bring a picture of your pet for blessing.

Conversation on Scripture

Do you ever hear the reading on Sunday morning and think, what does this mean? Let’s talk about it. Join Pastor Kjersten on Wednesdays in the lounge at Trinity at 10 am or 5:30 pm for a conversation about the upcoming week’s scripture text.

Earth Day Worship

Join us for worship on Sunday, April 26 at 10 am to celebrate Earth Day.  Please bring something that represents how you care for creation.  For example a gardening tool, a picture of your dog, something you recycle, etc.  We will be creating a display of all the ways we care for God’s good creation.
