Creating Change is an organization located in the Post-Franklin Neighborhood of Battle Creek, Michigan, dedicated to using an action-based community organizing approach to empower residents and create neighborhoods of choice.

The mission of Creating Change is to improve the quality of life in Battle Creek neighborhoods. We hope to achieve this by assessing and responding to community issues, improving properties, promoting positive youth development and increasing educational opportunities. Achieving those goals will lead to economic self-sufficiency, a developing sense of pride, trust, respect, and honor among neighbors, local businesses, local organizations and city government.

Creating Change holds monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month to talk about and act on issues affecting our neighborhoods. The organization has both a home repair program and social justice-oriented youth project.
