Community Cornerstone

A Fundraising Campaign for Trinity

“The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord’s doing, and it is amazing in our eyes.” – Matthew 21:42

The vision of Trinity Lutheran Church is to be a gathering of God’s people, anchored in the Post neighborhood, reflecting God’s freeing power to our congregation, our neighborhood, and the wider community.

Trinity has been an anchor institution in the Post neighborhood for well over 100 years.  As residents of a neighborhood in transition, we want to continue to be a stabilizing force, a cornerstone on which our neighborhood can grow and thrive.

We believe God has placed us in the Post Neighborhood to serve among and with the people of God who live here, and we are committed to being a place where grace and love are encountered, where everyone of all backgrounds, experiences and ages feels welcome and included, and where people can take a much needed deep breath from the worries of this world.

One thing we have learned from our sisters in ministry at the Woman’s Co-op is that anything is possible when networks of people get together. We invite you to become part of our network of supporters and join us in bringing the Kingdom of God near.
