“For every wild animal of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the air, and all that moves in the field is mine.” – Psalm 50:10-11
God loves all of creation. On the festival of St. Francis of Assisi, Sunday, October 4th, we pay special attention to the animal part of God’s creation. Bring your pet to Trinity at 3 pm for a special outdoor service of thanksgiving for the love that pets bring to our lives. All animals are welcome, be they furry, feathery, slimey, or scaley. Make sure they are on a leash or secured safely. If your pet does not like to travel, you can also bring a picture of your pet for blessing.
Do you ever hear the reading on Sunday morning and think, what does this mean? Let’s talk about it. Join Pastor Kjersten on Wednesdays in the lounge at Trinity at 10 am or 5:30 pm for a conversation about the upcoming week’s scripture text.
Please join us on Sunday, September 13 for a neighborhood block party. There will be hot dogs, games, school supplies, and good old fashioned fun and fellowship. We will be worshiping outside at 10:30 am, and the block party will begin after the worship service around 12 pm. Please come for this fun, casual back-to-school kick-off.
